This is a remix demo project sampling Sim Soo Bong's music.

Sim Soo Bong is a Korean trot / bbongjjak singer who was popular in the 80's. She was a witness of the assassination of Korean president Park Chung-hee in 1979, when she did a private performance for him. This moment was portrayed in the 2005 movie, "The President's Last Bang (그때 그사람들)," directed by Im Sang-soo. The movie's Korean title is taken from her debut track with the same name. As a result of her involvement as a witness, she was banned from appearing on TV until 1984. Today, she remains one of Korea's most memorable yet underrated living artists, who will leave an indelible mark in Korean history with her unmistakable voice and bittersweet lyrics. This is the sound of Korean soul music.
